What is Dana?
Dana is a Buddhist word that means generosity or heart. Nearly all Sacramento Insight Meditation activities are offered on a dana (donations) basis. This means our programs are sustained by the generosity of instructors in offering teachings freely and on the generosity of students and members of the meditative community in the form of financial support, service and participation in events. Practice dana, please support our Sangha. DONATE NOW

Please join us for a service with Diane Wilde and James Baraz, Susan’s teacher. There will be time to share memories of our dear friend, beloved peace and justice organizer, defender of Mother Earth, artist, healer, teacher, and spiritual leader.
Susan asked that donations in her memory be made to the David Samuel Orr Fund for the Earth (www.dsoffte.org) and the Sacramento Dharma Center. All donations to the Center in her memory will be restricted to manifesting and dedicating an outdoor space to Susan.
