Big Day of Giving 2026

SIM has participated in the Big Day of Giving (BDOG) for several years now. It is the premier fundraising effort for nonprofit organizations throughout the Sacramento Region. This year, we would like to have a higher profile campaign, and you can help! We would like to add some stories of how SIM benefits the community to our fundraising web page. In addition, we would like some help in acknowledging donors on the day of the event, Thursday May 7.

If two or three folks could join Rich Howard and Chris Bitonti in spreading the word about our vibrant community, we could have our most successful BDOG ever!

What is Big Day of Giving?
Big Day of Giving is a once-annual 24-hour giving challenge to help local nonprofits raise funds to make a difference in the Sacramento region. It’s the culmination of an entire year’s worth of community-building and collaboration led by the Sacramento Region Community Foundation, with support from community partners like Western Health Advantage, and made possible by people like you!


How can I help?
