WHAT IS UNPLEASANT – THE STARTING PLACE OF DIFFICULT EMOTIONS
We frequently don’t even recognize that we find some event, some exchange with another person, or the behavior of another person unpleasant. Our mind jumps forward to classifying it as aversive, bothersome or troubling. The same can be said for what we find pleasant. The mind commonly jumps forward to classifying something pleasant as desirous. This evening with SIM’s Founding Teacher, Dennis Warren, will examine this phenomenon that is one of the most common roots of difficult emotions.
