The Noble Eightfold Path

A Path for Living with Contentment, Compassion and Purpose
– a nine-month study and practice course

Course Overview

The Noble Eightfold Path is the essence of all of the Buddha’s teachings and is a remarkably pragmatic guide on how to live an authentic, contented life without regret. The path investigates every aspect of life, especially those hidden areas which cause distress and suffering.

Traditionally, the Eightfold Path is divided into three trainings: Wisdom or Panna (Views and Intention), Ethics or Sila (Speech, Virtuous Conduct, Livelihood or Skillful Living) and Mental Development or Samadhi (Effort, Mindfulness, Concentration).

The course will be taught by Rev. Diane Wilde, a SIM Community Teacher and other guest teachers.
