Serenity & Insight
Each moment, the mind takes on an attitude, perspective, or way of seeing. These perspectives will often color our vision such that reality is missed and we see everything through me-colored glasses. Tonight we will talk about skillful ways of regarding experience that support us to take off distorted lenses and see the world anew.
KODO CONLIN trains in both the Zen and Theravada traditions, ordaining as a Soto Zen priest in 2015. His practice in Vipassana has included extended residential training in the tradition of S.N. Goenka, as well as long retreats at Spirit Rock and Insight Retreat Center. He serves as the Co-Managing Director of Insight Retreat Center and is a participant in the 2021-2025 Dharma Teacher Training with Insight Meditation Center. Kodo’s teaching emphasizes the joyful, comprehensive freedom of the heart—liberation—available through the Buddhist path.
