SIM’s Founding Teacher, Dennis Warren, leads a year-long course that looks at the direct application of Buddhist practices and psychology to real life situations. It’s designed to bridge the artificial separation between meditation & dharma practice, on the one hand, from the activities & relationships of the rest of our lives, on the other.
This course began in late January 2016 so registration is currently closed. We’re happy to report that the HCIH? course has been really wonderful and the first where SIM has had a service component with over 20 people serving in a host of different volunteer roles in the community. The course details are listed below and there’s a related dharma talk and course update from Sep 22, 2016 that is worth a listen .
