Retreat Theme: A Long Enduring Mind
This year’s annual retreat will be online, four days starting Friday evening 9/3/21 through 9/6/21. The teachers will be Kamala Masters and Steve Armstrong. The teachers will be offering practical Dhamma understanding in relationship to these reflections:- Is the path I’m practicing worthy of my efforts?
- How can I balance life in the world with deeper practice?
- Am I practicing with compassion in the face of dukkha?
- How does gratitude and generosity deepen my practice?
Schedule
- June 17, 2021 – Registration opens.
- August 20, 2021 – Last day to request full refund (see refund policy listed below).
- August 25, 2021 – Registration closes (approx. 11:30 pm).

Cost
The registration fee will be $100 with an opportunity to later make a donation to support the retreat teachers.Scholarships
We encourage you to pay the full registration fee if your finances allow you to do so; however, in recognition of the challenging year many have had, partial scholarships are available if needed. The ticket you select when making payment will indicate if you will be paying the full registration fee or paying a portion of the fee via partial scholarship. If you select a scholarship option, to help us use the appropriate scholarship funds, the registrar will ask if you are 40 years old or under. If you’d like to contribute into the scholarship fund to help someone else be able to afford this special dharma opportunity, enter the amount you’d like to donate in the box below. - Through August 20, 2020, full refund if requested by this date.
- After August 20, 2020, the registration fee could be refunded if SIM is able to fill your spot with another participant. Otherwise, the registration fee will not be refunded. A waiver of this policy will be considered in limited circumstances based on request demonstrating financial hardship.
